Dearest Friends and family

Not all things go as we plan but the Lord is still in control.

TRAVELS
We took a little trip to Arkansas, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi and Missouri to see people thinking it would be the last before we left for home. It was good to share our work and see many friends and brethren, the golf in Tennessee was good also.

I had my renal scan at the VA in regard to my stage 3 kidney disease and here was the result:
The right kidney measures 8.6 x 3.9 x 3.5 cm. There is an interpolar cyst that measures 2.2 x 2.7 x 2.1 cm. (10%)

The left kidney measures 9.7 x 4. x 3.4 cm. There is an interpolar cyst that measures 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.5 cm. (1.5%)

There is good corticomedullary differentiation. There is documentation of vascular flow to both kidneys. No solid mass, calculi or obstruction were associated with either kidney.

Within the pelvis the partially distended urinary bladder revealed no intraluminal filling defects. There is documentation of bilateral ureteral jets.

Impression:
No obstructive uropathy.
Bilateral renal cysts.

So there is nothing they are going to do right now but monitor however I was told that the high blood pressure I experience could be as a result of the cysts and the larger they get the more trouble I would experience. The urology doctor in Fayetteville suggested a artificial sphincter for my Urinary incontinence but I said "no thank you" after I read the side effects: an infection in the artificial sphincter; wearing away (erosion) of the skin of the urethra; and failure of the artificial sphincter to work, none of which I need in Vanuatu.

I also received word that the Veterans Administration is saying I MIGHT have to be here for another appointment to verify some things for additional compensation.

They have found that I have hearing loss from my time in the Air Force (on the flightline and in generator rooms, dah!) and that would qualify me for more (almost guaranteed) compensation which would make up for some of the support we have lost.

We filed for a review in regard to my prostrate disability level because the side effects are getting worse. Also for other RATED Disabilities according to them. I like the RELATED TO "Agent Orange-Vietnam but then they try to say "Not Service connected". And I don't know where else I got agent orange exposure or the residuals of shell fragment wounds.

They have the recent information from 2 doctors and they don't need me here for the upgrade of the post-operative radical prostatectomy but the hearing loss is a different matter which MIGHT require an additional test that only THEY (the compensation board) CAN SET UP.

Kathy's younger sister, Beth, had a double mastectomy yesterday (July 8th) and is expected to go home tomorrow. In view of her needing help and Kathy wanting to be here for her for a couple of weeks and the fact that the VA will more than likely require me to here for a new hearing test for compensation evaluation we have decided to delay or return back to Vanuatu AGAIN.  We are now scheduled to go back home on August 3rd.  We pray this is the last change!

Kathy is also still adjusting to her medications.

Thank you for your prayers - God hears!

We are still looking for additional monthly support - personal and for the running of the Bible School. If you can help please do and especially remember us in your prayers - thank you!

God is good!!!!!!!!!

Onward and upward!
We especially want to thank all of you so much for praying for us, supporting us and have contributed to our needs so we can do what we are doing. God bless you! Thank you for your prayers and fellowship!

Thank you Lord for healing and providing what we need!

Grace & Peace
