Dear Brethren;

Greeting in the name of the Lord. We thought you might like to see how the family has weathered.

THE PRINTED PAGE
"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Isa. 55:10,11

The printed page seems to be coming into its own in the day of people not wanting to talk face to face on religious matters. More and more people are reluctant to talk about their beliefs. They seem to be wining to read what you might have to say but "don't push me to believe the way you do by talking me, into it." Last year I was printing a little neighborhood newspaper for the local milkman. I placed an ad in various issues advertising the church. A young couple began coming because they saw one of the ads. This past week Christine was baptized and her husband Andrew is close. Praise the Lord for open hearts.

WORLD BIBLE SCHOOL
A WBS student in Port Moresby asked to be baptized and Jab Mesa and Kevin Dye the local missionary went around and after a short study baptized Kuriki Kore into Christ for the remission of his sins. Kevin writes that Kurikil's whole family is now studying. We have the following students:
464 - Have completed the Introductory Lesson
39 - Have completed the 1st Course (Red Book) 5 - Have completed the 2nd Course (Yellow Book) 650 - Have been sent Introductory Lesson; 15 - close to conversion

One student, Edward Choi wrote "I was baptized (sprinkled) as a Catholic. I know they won't immerse me so I will go see if the pastor of the Mormons will.'' (Edward is in a town on another island where the church doesn't meet yet and we don't have any missionaries there.)
As mentioned in our last newsletter we are planning a PNG trip to follow-up WBS contacts and introduce missionaries to students. We also plan to use the trip to finalize printing needs of the workers in PNG which we will then print here in NZ. We had been planning to go in late March but have had to delay until early April.

Our trip will be APRIL 4-25th. We will only have enough time and money to hit the major centers where we presently have missionaries. (I wish we could get out to every major town where we have students. Some of them are on outer islands, in the bush with the gold mines etc.) We will be trying to raise the $2500 it is to cost by April 1st.

THE LORD STILL PROVIDES
Some of the printing needed by the Bible College and church calls for larger sheets than we have been able to print up to now. Not anymore! A major printing firm (they print the local newspaper and full-color magazines) here in town placed a Heidelberg GTO 46 printing machine in our shop. They are leasing the machine to us and will be paying us to run jobs for them. They have guaranteed more than enough jobs to pay the lease. Effectively they are paying us to use their machine. We get free use of the machine all other times. This machine will allow us to print a larger format and quality color printing. Truly the Lord DOES provide.

PRINTING PROGRESS
The new correspondence course booklet is ready for the press. We also have put the WBS "Christian Life" booklet on computer and are ready to print it in the narrow format.

Question: What's to happen with the printing shop while I am in PNG for three weeks?
That was a major concern of ours. We hope to get a Christian brother who wants to move back from Auckland to step-in and fill-in and then stay on as another salaried worker when we return. His name is Dan Martin. Dan has been operating printing presses for several years as a sideline. I offered him a position when I first started up but he wasn't ready to move back to Tauranga then.

We are going to need another press operator with this additional press. Again another Lord given opportunity covered by a Lord given means. If Dan does come in to work then this will provide the Christian printer we have been looking for to provide relief for me and allow us to get into the islands which we desire to do with the Bible Training Schools and WBS follow-up schools.

John Topping is still working with me and does the artwork, set-up and plate making. He is still asking and studying about Christianity.

So another month has gone by and by. We will be moving house March 10th. The new house is just up the street from Jason's school.

Please remember the following prayer requests:
- New converts: Christine & Kuriki.
- Funds for April trip: $2500
- Continued work funds for outreach work. (Would like to advertise WBS again but need to secure additional monthly support first to follow-up properly)

Again thank you for your fellowship in prayer and finances.

In Christ,

the Huffs
